"As a fluent speaker of Spanish, I love to share my knowledge of language and culture with others. This makes the tutoring experience both pain free and effective. I have lived in Latin American countries for a year, grew up speaking Spanish, and studied Spanish at a university level. As a writer, I also have strong writing and language skills in English, to support tutoring in vocabulary for SAT or English and reading skills. Further, I am a certified Early childhood educator, I have a special strength with children and preschool and Elementary subjects. I have taught preschool and am known for working with students who have trouble focusing, struggle with ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning disabilities due to skills and training in behavior management and effective teaching. I have also worked at Kumon tutoring center for 3 years, where I was trained in solid tutoring methods and how to customize programs for each child. All of the tutoring stories I have are success stories and I am confident that we can work together and make you or your child's story a success story as well!

I have a special love for early childhood ages 2-8, that need to learn to read and write and grow in basic skills to be ready for or do better in school. I have a Philosophy for teaching this age with fun and repetition that improves learning and rapidly. Where as there may be some that shy away from this age group in tutoring, I welcome them and am excited to work with young minds and implement fun ways to maintain attention and focus. I am not limited to the little ones either! Being a current college student myself, I may be perfect for teaching other college aged or high-school students with an experienced based understanding of the work- load and the importance of complete comprehension of material.
