"Hello! I'm a recently retired teacher, and I miss teaching. I taught general, instrumental and choral music for 33 years and loved it. However, I was one class short of a minor in English, and reading and writing are also passions of mine.

I have experience in proofreading and guiding both fictional and non-fictional writing. Because I'm such a avid reader, my vocabulary and grammar skills are also excellent. In high school, I received score of 100 on my social studies Regents.

I've worked with students of all ages, grade 1 to grade 12, and students of all abilities, from the gifted to those who struggle or have academic issues.

My 33 years of music teaching enables me to teach all instrumental instruments, and I enjoy teaching beginning lessons. Many times, a year of individual attention really helps a child (or adult!) get off to a great start.
