"Before college, I entered the Air Force in 1963 serving 4 years in electronics area. After graduating from the University of Maine in 1971 followed by a year of graduate study, I worked in the field of electronic design for Raytheon (6 years), Hewlett Packard (25 years), Agilent Technology (5 years) and Philips Medical till retirement.

My work in the medical design area produced over 12 US Patents and numerous foreign patents.

During my work career I tutored AP Physics and Calculus at North Andover High School in Massachusetts. In addition I have tutored several students in the Boothbay area as well as all my nieces and nephews.

I feel I have a very unique teaching method emphasizing the use of the material first followed by the more formal textbook style. I am very comfortable in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus and Physics having tutored in all levels.
