"Greetings! I am a retired professor of IT Management with over 20 years of teaching, researching and leadership. I have a Ph.D. in Ed. Leadership & Higher Ed. and an M.Ed. in Ed. & HR Studies, and a BSBA in Marketing. As an academic and career coach, I specialize in proofreading, editing, dissertation assistance, preparing college applications and career search support.

I help students with:

- comprehensive job and internship search assistance, including resume formatting, cover letter templates, and mock interviews.

- how to use (or not use) AI-assisted tech, such as ChatGPT, ChatGPT Zero (AI writing and plagiarism detector), Midjourney, and other tools. I can also help generate prompts to help you get good search results.

- dissertation proofreading, citation formatting, and process coaching.

- research assistance for literature reviews.

- university application processes including resumes, CVs and personal statements.

- executive function skill building.

For each session, I start by getting to know you and discussing what type of help you need. Then, we will set goals and expectations. Next, we will go through whatever you are struggling with at your own pace. At the end of the session, I'll make sure you're comfortable with the end result and will give ideas on how to keep moving forward.

Some random fun things about me: I've traveled to 15 countries; I like to read; I'm a digital artist; and I collect Hot Wheels cars! I have an awesome cheagle. I like to watch cooking competition shows, but I don't cook.
