"My name is Latrell P and I have a master's degree in physics from the Rochester Institute of Technology. I work as a part-time college professor at Three Rivers Community College. I've also worked as an associate engineer at a battery company called Solid Energy Systems and I worked as a research lab chemist at Duracell. I've been in education for over 10 years working with kids from a variety of backgrounds. I've worked with kids from early middle school to seniors in high school. I've learned over those 10 years that it is important to meet kids where they are and to tailor lessons to meet their specific needs. I've had a success story of a boy who needed help in Algebra, their math grade improved significantly, and now they are attending college in pursuit of a STEM degree.
