"Hello Learners!

My name is Emily. I am a nurse practitioner with an MS from Clemson. I started working in a tutoring center on a University campus in 2012 and have received certification as a professional tutor from the College Reading and Learning Association. I now also teach at several local universities. I adore my job and love seeing my learners grow every day! I believe tutoring should be held in a non-threatening and open environment. My students are able to come to me with any questions, whether it concerns educational material, study skills, or how to manage time.

I am experienced as a tutor in sciences such as Anatomy, Biology, Physiology, Chemistry, and Life Sciences. I find the body and our planet very fascinating and try to instill that fascination in my learners. I also tutor high school and college level Algebra and geometry. I have graduated with a BSN and an MS in Nursing and am well equipped to tutor many undergrad/grad level nursing subjects such as Med-Surg, drug dosage, pathophysiology, adult health, assessment, and more!
