"Hello everyone! It all started in a small city next to the Arctic Circle where I grew up... Whenever there was an opportunity to see foreigners, I was so fascinated with the fact that they came to my town that I genuinely wanted to introduce my culture and language to them as best as I could.

Since then, one of my greatest life passions is education. I really enjoy being a teacher and a student. I have two degrees in Art History and French from Saint Petersburg State University, Bard College (NY, USA), and The University of the South (TN, USA). I also have qualifications from Moscow State University as a teacher of Russian as a foreign language.

I've been working as a Russian and English teacher since five years from now; I spent two years teaching Russian to students at the University of the South (Sewanee, TN); and I have experience working at The State Hermitage Museum, Guggenheim, private art collectors and small galleries.

Right now I'm translating a book by famous Russian author Victor Pelevin into English and writing articles on Russian language and culture for Russia Beyond online magazine.

You can't even imagine how fun it can be to learn a foreign language, really! One of the reasons is that anything that interests you can be a subject of our Russian conversations.

It's essential to me to make the process of learning an enjoyable activity that fosters the student's motivation and greater interest in the subject.
