I have been a biology researcher for more than a decade, and having worked at some of the best institutions in the world, including Yale University and Salk Institute. My background: BSc in Human Genetics, Master’s degree in Neuroscience. My PhD focused understanding the inner workings of telomeres and how they relate to aging and cancer. For my postdoc research, I have worked on super-resolution microscopy, CRISPR editing, and regenerative medicine. My research has been awarded with the 2020 Salk Women & Science Award. More recently, I have worked as a consultant in the genomic sequencing industry to help deliver thousands of NSG assays (including RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, single cell experiments) to customers all over the world.

I have a deep understanding of molecular biology, cell biology, epigenetics and NGS /sequencing technologies and are familiar with the most cutting-edge research tools in the field. I have written numerous grant applications both for academia and for private sectors.

As an educator, I believe in a personalized approach. I focus on cultivating student’s awareness of their own learning (i.e. metacognition), showing them how to build lasting knowledge structure, approach complex problems and stay resourceful.
