"As a certified K–6 school counselor with a Master of Education from John Brown University, I bring both academic training and hands-on experience to my tutoring approach. My graduate program emphasized student development, mental health support, and culturally responsive practices—skills I apply daily while working with elementary students in both individual and group settings. Prior to my current role, I worked as a middle school librarian paraprofessional, where I supported students academically and tutored eighth graders in English Language Arts and Math. I’ve developed and delivered lessons across multiple grade levels, collaborated closely with teachers, and designed materials to support diverse learning styles.

In addition to my professional qualifications, I’m a mother of five boys and have extensive personal and professional experience supporting students with ADHD and children on the autism spectrum. My work in schools and my life at home have given me a deep sense of empathy, patience, and adaptability.
