My name is Shaunna G. and I love to help students comprehend and excel in biology, chemistry, astronomy, and ACT and GED test prep. I have sixteen years of experience instructing and tutoring Biology, 10-12 Grade Chemistry, Earth Science, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Pre-Algebra, ACT, and GED Prep helping students raise their overall test scores by 38%.

I attended Weber State University and received separate BS degrees in Microbiology and Botany. I also earned two minors in Chemistry and Geology. In addition, I earned an M.Ed. degree in Science Education and Curriculum Development from the University of Phoenix.

I am able to provide excellent guidance online, or in person, preferably meeting at a local library such as the Santa Clara or St. George, Utah library. If needed, I can also create a special asynchronous lesson for you upon request. The cost for this type of instruction and learning program would be based on the depth and duration of the lesson.

While I am not certified in reading programs I have four years of experience in supplemental reading programs for ELL or others needing additional help. Lastly, I also have a therapy dog, cat, and rabbit team(s) that often attend online tutoring sessions. Their names are Porter and Cecilia (dogs), Talla and Rosie (cats), and Bluebell and Buttercup (rabbits) and they are an integral part of my education team.
