"Hello! My name is Larissa and I am a biochemistry major at Loyola Marymount University. I am passionate about science and math and looking to help out anyone that is struggling. I specifically tutor in biology and chemistry (general or organic) and I also tutor in Algebra I and pre-algebra. I prefer to meet online but can also do in person.

I have previous one-on-one tutoring experience in lower-division science courses, but as I am finishing my degree shortly I can now move on to helping in biology and chemistry classes.

My style of tutoring involves practice based learning, because I feel practice question are the best way to learn. A student should try to attempt any questions on their own, and bring whatever they are struggling with to our lesson and we can walk through them together.
