I graduated from the University of California - Riverside with a B.S. in Biology, ranking in the top 10% of my class with a GPA of 3.7. I scored 35 out of 36 on the math and science sections of the ACT. I have extensive tutoring experience with three different companies and have also taught introductory computer science and robotics to elementary and middle school students. Additionally, I have completed two computer science internships and a coding bootcamp at Codesmith, focusing on web development.

Wyzant emphasizes one-on-one tutoring, and my approach is personalized to each student. I begin by understanding your goals and assessing your current knowledge through conversation and informal testing. From there, I build on the concepts you find challenging, using patterns and examples to simplify complex ideas.

I offer tutoring for students from K-12, specializing in Science and Math. For university students, I can tutor as well, though I may need some time to refresh my knowledge. My math tutoring goes up to Calculus (excluding Multivariable Calculus). I can also proofread and brainstorm essay ideas and assist with English grammar, though I do not help with long reading assignments.

Teaching is a passion of mine, and while I don’t pursue it full-time, I find great joy in helping students succeed. I have a strong interest in Sciences, Psychology, and Computer Science, allowing me to delve deeply into these subjects if needed.
