"I’m a senior at the University of Central Florida about to graduate with a degree in Secondary Science Education with a focus in Biology. I’ve always been drawn to science, and I believe students learn best from someone who genuinely enjoys the subject and is excited to teach it. Through my coursework, I’ve taken a wide range of science classes—biology, chemistry, environmental science, and more—which allows me to tutor middle and high school students confidently across multiple science subjects.

As part of my teacher training, I’ve spent extensive time in real classrooms working directly with students and supporting teachers. I’ve assisted in both middle and high school settings, offering small-group and one-on-one help to students who needed extra support. These experiences helped me learn how to explain complex ideas in ways that make sense to different learners and how to build confidence in struggling students.

One of my strengths is my ability to explain a concept in multiple ways—using visuals, examples, step-by-step breakdowns, or real-world connections—until it clicks for the student. I am available to tutor a variety of science courses, including general science, biology, environmental science, and ACT Science. I also feel confident helping with reading skills and standardized test prep, such as the ACT or SAT reading sections.

Above all, I aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and exploring new ideas. I welcome any goals, resources, or suggestions from students or parents so we can make our sessions as effective as possible.
