"I have 33 years of experience as a biology teacher and conservationist. My life's work is to communicate my love of nature and the life sciences to newcomers to the biological sciences. I've taught a wide range of courses across the biology curriculum to students ranging in age from 13 to adult and have mentored numerous students in independent research. I'm considered by many to be a humorous, engaging, inspiring, and compassionate teacher.
