"I have an MEd and a BS in Biology from Tennessee State University. I have been teaching middle school Science for 19 years. I have taught Physical Science (for high school credit) for eight years. My delight in teaching comes from watching students gain confidence in their learning process and discovering their learning styles. I believe that my role as a teacher is to "facilitate" the learning process.

My teaching style varies to whatever the students' needs may be. I have been teaching in Metro Public Schools for my entire career and have learned to adapt to many learning styles in order to accommodate the learning to every student that I have.

According to my students and administrators, I make an excellent tutor and teacher because I simplify scientific concepts in a way that makes them meaningful and relevant to their life experiences. Albert Einstein stated that "if you cannot explain it in simple terms, then you don't understand it".
