"I'm Ciaran! I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and completed the International Baccalaureate program. I received the IB Diploma this past July, meaning I passed all 13 IB exams, completed 150 hours of creativity, activity and service, and wrote a 4,000 word essay on a topic of my choosing that was deemed exemplary by an IB grader. As someone who has gone through the most rigorous level of high school classes there is, I understand how valuable a tutor can be. I tutored at a volunteer organization called I Would Rather Be Reading prior to the start of my first year at Loyola University Chicago this past August. I also tutored my peers on and off throughout the IB program by grading/editing essays, meeting with them one-on-one to discuss how to write essays, and overall being a resource for those struggling with IB English.
I understand how frustrating school can be when you do not understand the concepts being taught, and I want to help alleviate that burden.
