"I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Product Design and Innovation program, a dual major that combines Mechanical Engineering with Science Technology and Society Studies with interdisciplinary design studios each semester. Since then I have been the lead mechanical design engineer at several startups, have worked at some multi-billion dollar companies, and have brought several products from napkin sketches to full commercial production.

Some of my projects include electric sports wheelchairs and wheelchair attachments, a tabletop DNA analyzer, high fidelity speakers and subwoofers, high voltage devices, and instrumentation for observing explosive events in batteries and transformers.

Although I have not worked as a tutor before, I have really enjoyed mentoring interns and junior engineers on the job, and I have a lot of patience to teaching younger people about math, science, and especially engineering. No matter where your understanding is now, I aim to meet you there and help you reach the next level.
