"My name is Lindsey. I have been teaching 6th and 8th grade math at Black Mountain Middle School in California for 8 years. I have taught over 1000+ students and I have great experience working with students that have learning disabilities such as autism, ADD, ADHD, etc. The subjects that I have taught my students are pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, Integrated 1, Integrated 2, and middle-school level math. I also have taught ELL Math for English Language Learners. I know what it is like to struggle in math and finally get to that moment where everything clicks. I failed math in elementary and middle school because most of my teachers were very strict and I never felt comfortable enough to ask for help when I needed it. This is why I chose to become a math teacher.

I believe that in order to tutor in a subject you must be passionate about it... and indeed I am! I went into teaching because I wanted to provide students with a comfortable, safe, and positive experience to get the help they need. I recently earned my Master's Degree in Math Education!
