"Hi! I am a certified teacher who has been in the classroom for 5 years. I currently teach high school, but I have worked with students ranging from ages 3 to 60! I have experience tutoring and teaching in Spanish, English Language Arts, and ESL. I have been told by students that I explain things in a clear and thorough manner.

I have taught various ELA classes, including English 9, world literature & composition, British literature & composition, and English 12. My strengths focus around literacy. I love to help students improve their reading and writing skills. I am ESL certified as well and hold a Master’s Degree in the area. I know how to work with language learners and make information comprehensible.

I have been studying Spanish for 13 years and teaching it for 5. Classes I have taught include exploratory Spanish (middle school), as well as Spanish I, II, and IV. I take an interactive and contextualized approach to language learning that helps students connect with the material.
