And I am an active vocalist/multi-instrumentalist songwriter, performer, and recording artist with over 20 years of experience - not just an academic!

My real-world experience in music has been rooted in and augmented by a firm foundation in academic learning. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in 1999. Since then, I have independently pursued increased knowledge through attending numerous seminars and conferences in the field of voice, as well as earning the New York Singing Teachers' Association's "Distinguished Voice Professional" certificate in 2016. I am a past member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the New York Singing Teachers' Association.
