"Hi, I’m Priya! I’m an alumni of Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Biomedical Engineering graduate program, and have experience tutoring high school and college students, as well as in training working adults.

I have 1 year of experience tutoring high schoolers in essay writing and anatomy, and have experience tutoring fellow college students during my time as an undergraduate student at the University of Memphis. My tutoring experience covers English, Algebra 1 & 2, Calculus 1, Anatomy, and Microsoft Office apps.

I enjoy developing my students’ learning plans with their input, to ensure we’re both aware of expectations, that they’re excited for their learning journey, and to make sure I’m matching their learning style as best as I can. This also allows for my students to be guided and supported, while maintaining their own autonomy and study management. I like mixing review sessions with guided problem solving to ensure students are learning the material, then immediately seeing it applied. This also ensures the student is always getting practice in, even if it’s just during our sessions.
