"Hi! I’m Michelle, a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (MLT ASCP) with a passion for making science approachable, understandable, and fun. I specialize in Microbiology, Immunohematology, Clinical Laboratory Science, and ASCP exam preparation.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science in 2018 and have worked in a hospital-based microbiology laboratory ever since. I began tutoring General Chemistry and General Biology as a peer tutor back in 2015—and never stopped! In 2023, I earned my Master’s in Biology with an Emphasis in Education from Grand Canyon University, which strengthened my ability to teach complex topics in clear and engaging ways.

Currently, I teach Immunohematology and Microbiology at the college level while continuing to tutor students pursuing degrees in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or preparing for the ASCP certification exam.

My tutoring sessions are interactive and student-centered. I use one-on-one explanations, worksheets, concept mapping, flow charts, and real-world examples to help you connect theory to practice. I also emphasize study strategies, note-taking skills, and organizational techniques so you can learn effectively and confidently on your own.
