"Hi there! I'm Jessica. I graduated magna cum laude from Southern New Hampshire University in March of 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and concentrations in both Fiction Writing and Screenwriting. I'd been wracking my brain over how to use my degree once I've graduated. I knew that I'd always felt my most fulfilled while helping others, so when tutoring came to mind, I knew it was the answer I was looking for.

What I remembered most about the subjects I performed my best in throughout the years wasn't the classes or the material itself, but the professors who made them memorable. My favorite instructors were fun, personable, approachable, understanding, kind, and accommodating, and I aim to embody those traits for my students. I would love to be able to make a subject I'm passionate about as enjoyable for someone else as it is for me.

My greatest strengths lie with the English language and all things writing. This pertains to creative writing first and foremost, but I am just as experienced in other facets of writing such as argumentative writing (i.e., persuasive essays), research papers, compare and contrast essays, literary analysis papers, book reports (i.e., papers about a piece of literature), and so on. I can also tutor in areas of proofreading, grammar and vocabulary.
