"I'm Kelly! Nice to meet you! I'm an experienced college instructor, tutor, and general fan of all things research, methodology, and statistics. I earned my Ph.D. in Applied Psychology and Prevention Science in 2022 from UMass Lowell. Most of my work there used statistical techniques to understand why innocent individuals plead guilty to crimes they didn't commit.

While I was in school, I worked on a project funded by the National Science Foundation where we developed the first experimental computer simulation to study plea bargaining. I mentored lab assistants, designed experimental research to validate the simulation, cleaned and analyzed complex data in R, and wrote up our results for publication. I love the bringing ideas through to completion and would be happy to work alongside you as you complete any semester-long projects. I am also available to consult on research proposals, statistical approaches, statistical analyses, data management plans, R coding or SPSS analyses, programming surveys in Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey, and more.
