"Hi, my name is Joe. I'm a professional game developer for a small studio, so I have a lot of experience with the full software development stack. I graduated summa cum laude from Stony Brook University's computer science program, where I spent 4 years tutoring students in math, chemistry, and of course computer science.

I think the best way to learn anything is by putting it into practice, so a tutoring lesson with me would focus around working through programming problems together. Since I'm a game developer by day, I'll try to come up with fun visual problems - programming doesn't have to be all numbers and variables, learning to code can be more fun, like making small games or animations. Most of my tutoring experience is in one-on-one lessons, as a CRLA certified tutor.
