"I am a professional software engineer. I attended the Evergreen State College and graduated with a bachelor's of science in computer science. I have done a number of IT roles, from helpdesk technician to network operations to project management and software development. In my most recent role, I developed software for the Department of Defense in cooperation with DARPA.

While I was getting my undergraduate degree, I was a teaching assistant for a year. I taught various subjects including Java programming, data structures and algorithms, and computer security.
