"Good Day Potential Students,

My name is Ken, here is some information about me. I have graduate level and undergraduate level college degrees in business from Rutgers University, where my minor was in music. I am also a current college professor with excellent student evaluations. Finally, I spent two years as the educational Co-Chair of a technology conference called ILTA EVOLVE. So, I am very committed to education!

As it relates to music, I have written songs for close to 40 years. I have served the past 17 years as a Mass Cantor (solo singer) in Catholic Mass in my Parish in the Northeast United States. I am also the substitute musician (keyboardist) there. I offer several resources to prospective songwriting students, including a Substack site with examples of my songs, music theory analysis of songs and also details on my philosophy for writing song lyrics and connecting with your listeners. I have also written a "concept album" -- putting together 11 songs to describe a story (kind of like Pink Floyd's The Wall or Fleetwood Mac's Rumours -- which I think is pretty neat and look forward to sharing this perspective with students

Lastly, I also bring a tech element to my lessons. I am an expert on AI and can teach students how to improve both music and lyrics with GEN AI tools. I also am very skilled at making music videos with a AI based video production software product called Movavi that I look forward to teaching my students. I have examples of my music videos on a YouTube site also to share with students upon request.

Lastly, for whatever it is worth, I have built our a technology company for the past 25 years, am very professional and have great experience working with people.
