"I began my Spanish journey as an exchange student in Costa Rica at the age of 16. This experience led me to study Spanish and Linguistics in college and obtain a Masters in Teaching. After graduating I moved back to Latin America for 5 years, where I gained a native level of fluency in the Spanish language. In 2016 I worked with the US State Department to train teachers in India through the ELF program. Upon my return in 2018 I stumbled upon the career of studio teaching within the film industry, a job which I have held for over 5 years. With the pandemic I began remote tutoring with some of my students and have continued to tutor on the side since that time. Recently I have devoted more time to online tutoring as I am currently traveling again and learning my 4th language, Portuguese.

I hold a multi-subject teaching license (K-6) and Single Subject license (Spanish) from the State of California. I have tutored various subjects and grade levels in my work. I am an energetic and dynamic instructor who truly enjoys helping students to reach their highest potential. I often use games, music, and movement to create an engaging learning experience.
