"I graduated from Broward College with a Bachelor's in ESE Education. I am currently a high school Special Education Science Co-Teacher. I work with general education students that have disabilities (SLD, ASD, OHI, etc.). I have worked with ages 3 - 19 for over 5 years. I am also certified in Reading and ESOL and have enjoyed my time spent working with students in these areas.

I have been tutoring students from Kindergarten to High School for 8 years. I have successfully supprted students to improve at least one level on state exams through support sessions. I'm excited to work with you and help you learn new information, re-learn forgotten skills, and build on existing skills.

From experience, I know that the student-teacher relationship is incredibly important and affects a student's motivation and confidence. Providing positive reinforcement and encouraging mistakes helps lessens the stress and vulnerability associated with learning new things. I strive to create environments where students feel comfortable making these mistakes and learning from them.

I am also certified to teach Grades 6 - 9 Earth/Space Science. I have experience teaching Biology, Forensic Science, and Earth Space in a classroom setting, as well as, one to one tutoring or remediation sessions.

I am excited and passionate about working with students of all ages and needs. I have successfully supported students with varying exceptionalities to meet them at their instructional levels, in order to bridge the gap to meet or exceed grade level standards. I love to be challenged to find new ways to engage students in a lesson. If I have the chance to be creative, I'll always take it!
