"Welcome! I'm Stephanie! I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). After graduating, I taught for two years: one in 5th grade and the other in 1st. As an elementary school teacher, it is important to be a jack of all trades, meaning I don't just specialize in one subject. I get to learn them all! I am confident in my ability to teach any curriculum that may be difficult to a child in K-6. Though I can teach any subject and find them all important, I do feel extremely passionate about reading. I believe that if a child can learn to love reading, the whole world is open to them.

Due to my elementary background, I love a high energy classroom. I believe that learning should be fun experience. My teaching methods include a lot of movement, music, and visual aids, because I believe student responded best to this way of learning, especially in the elementary years.
