"I am a credentialed science educator with over a decade of experience teaching learners in both traditional classrooms and alternative settings. I hold a Bachelor of Science from Bates College, a Master of Science from the University of Vermont, and a California Teaching Credential with English Learner Authorization. I also hold Career Technical Education (CTE) credential eligibility in Biotechnology, Health Science, and Medical Technology. My background blends academic science with real-world application, drawing from years of research, medical technology, and university instruction.

My teaching journey spans K–12 and college-level instruction, including high school science where I design NGSS-aligned, project-based learning units that promote hands-on exploration and interdisciplinary collaboration. Previously, I worked as a substitute teacher across general and special education classrooms (K–12) and taught incarcerated youth through Vermont’s Community High School. I’ve also worked as an instructor for medical laboratory students, focusing on scientific rigor and lab-based learning. My approach prioritizes student engagement, belonging, and accessibility through Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
