"I graduated from Stanford University in 2008 with a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Sociology. Since then, I've been working on and off as a TV writer. I tutor on the side as an additional form of income, and also because I love teaching. My mother is a teacher, along with my grandmother, two aunts, and older brother. Teaching is something I've grown up with and always thought I would do myself, which is why I continue to tutor today.

I specialize in literature, college essays, grad school essays, and creative writing. As a tutor, I have adopted a casual and positive approach. I believe students only excel when encouraged, when their strengths are highlighted, allowing them to recognize their full potential.
