"Hello! I'm John. I graduated cum laude from Yale University with a BS in Chemical Engineering and earned my MS and PhD in Bioengineering from Stanford University, where I also completed a certificate in entrepreneurship from the Graduate School of Business. My interdisciplinary research spans biology, materials science, drug delivery, and immunology, and I have authored or contributed to 11+ peer-reviewed publications and three patents. I have presented my work at major international conferences and received multiple university and national honors, including recognition from the Yale College Dean’s Office and Stanford’s Hoefer Mentorship Award for Writing in the Major.

With over nine years of experience in mentorship, education consulting, and STEM tutoring, I have committed thousands of hours to helping students craft powerful personal narratives, launch capstone projects, gain admission to top-tier universities, and build confidence in difficult STEM courses (specializing in high school and introductory-college chemistry). My students have built nonprofits, published research, and earned spots in elite summer programs such as BU RISE, BWSI, and the Senate Page Program.
