I work with my students, instead of talking to them. I try to keep my talking to a minimum, and focus on building their critical thinking skills by simply guiding them on more difficult questions. I have seen my strategy lead not only to higher test scores, but more importantly, an increase in pupil confidence when reasoning their way through difficult questions that they may not have seen before.

As someone who has recently gone through the college admissions process, I understand both the importance but also the stress that high school grades and testing comes with. I can also share my journey, including the strategies that I used to receive my early acceptance into Berkeley Engineering (only the top 1% of applicants hear back early).

From being a peer tutor in school to online tutoring on Schoolhouse World, I have over 150 hours of SAT tutoring experience, including students who scored 790+ on SAT math. Test-taking is a learned art, and I hope to share my tips and tricks to defeat this tricky exam.
