"I am a recent graduate of Stanford University with a BA in Human Biology and a minor in Spanish. I also graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine with a MS in Microbiology & Immunology. Currently I am a doctoral student at the University of California San Diego. I absolutely love learning and believe that education holds the keys to success in life.

Through my education, I have taken a variety of courses (especially science) and am able to be a great help to students in need! As a student who has overcome dyslexia, I can provide valuable insight and understanding for students struggling with various learning disabilities. I understand that each person learns differently and any subject can be conquered with the right strategies and encouragement. I am ready and willing to adapt to the needs of each student and help him/her to reach specific goals.

I've been tutoring over 15 years and have great experience working with the Center for Teaching and Learning at Stanford University and with Cardinal Education in Palo Alto, CA. I have also worked as an assistant middle school teacher in Mountain View, CA.

Growing up in Southern California, near the US-Mexico border, exposed me to Spanish and the Spanish speaking culture at an early age. I began learning Spanish as a child and continued formally studying the language up to the university level at Stanford. I’ve lived in Madrid, Spain and am fully fluent in Spanish to provide both classroom and conversational assistance. I have a unique perspective since I am not a native speaker, yet I’ve been around Spanish all of my life.
