"I am a certified teacher with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies K-8, with endorsements in Special Education and Gifted Education. I have been teaching professionally for 5 years, working primarily with elementary-age students. My qualifications allow me to provide targeted academic support to your child with learning differences, as well as challenge advanced learners through enrichment and higher-level thinking tasks.

Although I have worked with students Kindergarten through sixth grade, my passion is working with students who have learning, physical, and emotional disabilities. I’ve provided instruction in both academic subjects as well as social emotional learning. I am trained and certified in using evidence-based strategies for reading intervention, including Orton Gillingham certification, math remediation, and differentiated instruction. I regularly support students with IEPs and 504 plans, helping them build confidence and grow academically and socially with personalized strategies that match their learning style.

My approach is student-centered, supportive, and flexible. I take time to get to know my students in order to develop an emotional connection. Our children learn best when they feel safe and loved.
