"I'm fresh out of graduate school and looking to do some tutoring on the side. My focus in school was on applied statistics and public economics. I tend to focus less on crunching numbers and working problems when teaching, and more on developing an understanding of the thought process and intuition behind problems. My belief is that these fundamentals do more to help students face new material than encyclopedic knowledge of an answer key ever will.

I prefer teaching college level material, but will gladly tutor for high school level math or social science coursework.
