"Hello, I have been in education for over 15 years. I have taught almost every grade level, including college level courses. I am also an education consultant for college readiness. I have been a reading dept. chair, a curriculum coach and a college advisor among other things. I have developed best practices to enable students reach optimal results in their education. My goal is to help students master their educational objectives and own their learning. I believe learning should be engaging so that students will love and enjoy their academic adventure.

Education expectations have become more intensive with each passing year. Unfortunately, not all students learn the same way, therefore, having the pedagogy and experience has enabled me to teach effectively to all learning styles.

I hold a master's degree in reading. I have been extremely successful in teaching students critical thinking skills which are the foundation to all learning in every content area. I am also adept in teaching English, grammar and public speaking.

I have also been successful in implementing vital skills for students in order to have a successful academic career such as, organization, time- management, various forms of note-taking and test-taking strategies, not to mention numerous ways to avoid procrastination which has been an ongoing problem for many students.
