"I graduated magna cum laude from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Geoscience. Before completing my science degree, I spent three years pursuing a teaching degree, where I gained hands-on classroom experience working with both middle and high school students. My shift to environmental science wasn’t a change of heart—it was an extension of my passion for learning. I wanted to dive deeper into scientific problem-solving and explore the real-world applications of the subjects I loved teaching.

My background combines strong academic performance with a personal understanding of how students learn. I’ve worked one-on-one and in small groups, using a flexible, supportive approach to help students connect with the material—especially in math, science, chemistry, and earth science. I focus on meeting students where they are, adapting my teaching style to fit their needs, and creating an environment where curiosity and confidence can grow.
