"Hello Parents and Students!

My name is Shaun, and I’ve been a STEM tutor since 2009. I graduated North Dakota State University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Physics. During my time at NDSU, I tutored for the school through a program called ACE. I focused on lower level Engineering, Physics, and Math from college algebra to calculus. After graduating, I continued to tutor through Wyzant and expanded to Chemistry and all levels of Math to grade school. I have two boys myself, and I enjoy staying current on the methods for the material. They do change from time to time. My approach includes focusing on your, or your student’s, learning style as well. That way I can more effectively adjust my teaching style to fit. There are lots of different ways people learn, and lots of different ways we all teach. It can be tough to find a good match. I did take a hiatus from tutoring due to COVID, but I’m looking forward to getting back into it. If you prefer masks in session, I am more than happy to oblige. I am also up-to-date on all my shots.
