"Hi, my name is Shani! In May 2023, I graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University. I was on the pre-med track, majoring in Child Development and Medicine, Health, & Society and minoring in Biological Sciences. During my time in college, I spent three years tutoring at Vanderbilt Tutoring Services in math, biology, chemistry, and higher-level science courses. In this capacity, I would meet both with students who needed a last-second exam review session and those who wanted to meet on a more consistent basis and establish a study schedule. I also served as a Learning Assistant for introductory biology and chemistry courses, where I met with 15-40 freshman students weekly to provide emotional and academic support throughout their transition into college.

My previous tutees have regarded me as a very kind, encouraging, and detail-oriented tutor.
