"I’m a Ph.D. scientist, engineer, and entrepreneur with a passion for communicating technical ideas and concepts. I'm a chemical engineer by training, with experience in biology, chemistry, and biomedical engineering.

If you need help with coursework, preparing for an exam, or anything else, I'll work with you in a way that fits your needs. My approach to understanding and communicating math and science is to try breaking complex concepts down into simpler, easier to understand ideas with real-world analogies and examples. Using this approach, I want to give you more confidence and feel like you can be a top student.

A little bit more background about me: I received a bachelors in Biology from NC State, then worked in biopharmaceutical industry for a few years. I managed a teaching lab at NC State, where I taught theory and practice of molecular biology to undergrads and masters students including PCR, DNA and protein gel electrophoresis, molecular cloning, and many other techniques. My PhD focused on development of molecular diagnostics (e.g. DNA and protein recognition tools) and sensor for virus detection.
