"As a dedicated fourth-year medical student on track to graduate in 2026, I am excited to offer comprehensive tutoring and guidance. My academic journey began with a degree in Public Health from UT Austin, where I also gained valuable experience explaining complex subjects as a biochemistry TA. This foundational experience in teaching, coupled with a strong performance in medical school where I have honored all my preclinical and clinical classes, has prepared me to effectively support my students. I recently achieved a 269, placing me in the 95th percentile, on my USMLE Step 2 CK exam, which I took in May 2025. This recent success, combined with passing Step 1 on my first attempt, has equipped me with a deep and current understanding of the material and effective test-taking strategies. I am eager to share these insights to help students excel in their USMLE Step 2 preparations, navigate Step 1, and succeed in their coursework.
My goal is to leverage my direct academic and teaching experiences to demystify complex medical concepts and provide tailored support. Having successfully navigated the challenging medical school application process myself, I also offer guidance on crafting compelling applications and preparing for interviews. My approach, refined through experiences like being a TA, focuses on understanding each student's unique needs, breaking down difficult topics into manageable components, and developing strategic study plans. I believe my recent exam success, strong academic record, and prior teaching experience make me well-suited to assist pre-medical and medical students in achieving their academic and career aspirations, fostering both confidence and competence in their studies." less...
