"I have worked with children from preschool through third grade for 14 years. I am currently a Kindergarten teacher in Hillsborough county looking to reach out to students who need one-to-one or small group learning. Teaching and tutoring young children are a passion and I thoroughly enjoy them both. Tutoring allows me to work closely with those students who need extra encouragement and confidence in learning.

Communicating amongst parents and myself is very important. I make sure to touch base with parents after each tutoring session to give feedback on progress as well as things to improve on. I have worked with general education students, Down syndrome, ADHD, EBD, Autistic, and students with Learning Disabilities that are on the high spectrum.

Students in my classes have been able to read above their grade level because I challenge them according to their abilities and help improve their weaknesses in a positive environment.

I am completing my Master's in Special Education.

Knowing the children of today will be our future leaders, and working with them the best I can to achieve great things means a lot. I work hard at tutoring and teaching because I only want to see students strive to their highest potential with the confidence and skills needed.
