"I hold a degree in history from Bridgewater State University as well as having a minor in secondary education. I also hold a certification in Sheltered English Immersion (SEI). I have just recently graduated. Therefore I can relate easily to students in high school. I have been working in various school systems and have dealt with all age groups as well as ability groups. I have worked in mixed ability classes and have had to modify my lesson plans to deal with different students strengths as well as their weaknesses. During my high school career I struggled in several subjects and required a tutor. So with this experience I can also bring the feeling of actually being in your students shoes. Tutoring was a huge help to me and helped me to get to the place I am today.

During my college education I excelled in all forms of history, and love the learning of new material. History is one of my great passions in life and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and learning new aspects of the material. I student taught for a semester and developed full lesson plans on my own as well as corrected assignments. Along with this part of my responsibility was to talk to parents and gather feedback from them on how I could better help their students.
