"Hello! My name is Sam, and I am a Sophomore at Missouri S&T. I am majoring in physics, with minors in mathematics, german, and computer science. I have always harbored a love for the intricaces and power of math. I also grew up with 4 younger siblings, all of whom always needed help with their school. Because of this, I have a deep understanding of why math works, which allows me to change my teaching style to cater to whoever I am with. I have gotten a high A in every math course up to and including calculus 3, and currently have a 3.94 GPA. Additionally, I have experience teaching and tutoring with fantastic results, bringing students from C's and D's, to high A's. Directly after high school, I was offered the opportunity to teach students in a classroom setting, and did that for a year. It was a fantastic growing experience for me, and taught me to appreciate the art of helping people learn.
While it is not necessarily a professional example of tutoring experience, I am known for helping my classmates. I have harbored a reputation as a guy who is always willing to help. I find that the best way to understand material yourself is to teach it to others. Because of this, I have countless hours of undocumented experience tutoring people my age.
With all of that being said, I am extremely flexible and am willing to work with you in order to determine an optimal situation for both of us. I am also quick to respond and am reliable at being punctual and consistent. Thank you for considering me, and feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns that you may have." less...
