"I am a 4th grade Science teacher for Huntsville City Schools. This is my 4th year teaching, and I have taught 3rd grade for two years and 5th for one. I absolutely love what I do, because I am able to teach students in ways that fit best with their particular learning style. I teach a lot of STEM lessons to make sure the students get hands on activities to help them connect what they are learning to the real world.

Reading is a subject that either students love or really struggle with. Reading was yet another subject I disliked growing up, because I could not comprehend what I read and I got bored. I teach many different reading strategies that I would've really benefited from. These strategies make reading fun and also help students break apart what they are reading to help them understand it better.

Ever since I began writing, I have always been told that I have "teacher handwriting." I love to teach students how to make their writing look professional and neat. I also enjoy teaching cursive to students, especially so that they can write their signatures in the future.
