"I have been teaching for 37 years now. I tell my students that they are the best part of my job. While other things have worn me down and made me decide to retire in June from my public school job, I love my students and the art of teaching as much now as I did in September, 1985, my first year of teaching.

To become a good or great teacher, one must love not only their subject matter but, even more importantly, the students that one teaches.

My being a foreign language teacher provides me with the skills and methodologies that also apply to ESL.

I have traveled to France with and without students many times and completed some of my Masters Degree courses at Laval University in Quebec City. I have taught French, levels 1-5, high school and middle school for 37 years now. I have taught Spanish, levels 1-3 at both the middle school and high school levels.

I would love to share my love of languages with you. I am very patient and will not ever give up on you. You must never give up on yourself. I have had very few student failures over the years as I will not accept failure as an option. I always find the good in my students and always tell them that I respect and admire them." less...
