"Hi all! My name is Katherine and I graduated magna cum laude in Biology, concentrating in molecular genetics. I currently am in a research training program at a premier biomedical institute in the US.

As a tutor, I do my best to simplify complex ideas and help my students feel more confident (and have fun!) in their learning. I have four years of experience tutoring English as a Second Language and science subjects, including biology and chemistry. I taught English as a Second Language as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, where I worked with middle school students in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I’ve also tutored and college students in biology and chemistry. My method is to build a relationship with my students and to meet them where they are at in the learning process. I’m passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable and excited to grow.
