Before enrolling in graduate school, I earned my undergraduate degree in English from UCLA. While in school I worked for the university's magazine where I wrote articles for their quarterly publication. After graduating I then wrote for two local papers as the Arts and Entertainment reporter.

My professional teaching experience includes tutoring students K-12 for several years at Kumon Math and Reading, teaching middle school humanities through the Aim High Summer Program in 2019 and 2021, and also conducting private tutoring in English competency. I have also taught swim lessons to children and adults through UCLA Recreation and most recently at a swim school in Sonoma. I am well-versed in listening to students of all ages from 3 to 85, understanding their struggles, and creating a plan to help them achieve success.
